The second Star Creature reissue we've had this week as the label dig into boogie's past to unearth some gems unheard by us mere mortals. Jimmie Green's "Dance Part 1" originally appeared on Shoestring Records in 1980 and regularly fetches over £50 second hand. It's a buoyant and funky jam with block party vibes aplenty and typically infectious vocals urging the crowd to... you guessed it, dance!

"Let Yourself Go" urges a similiar sentiment - surrendering to the music for maximum elevation. Instrumentally it's more disco flavoured - with piano licks, horn blasts and a live drum kit directing proceedings with walking bass and warm notes throughout. This one, from 1978 and again on Shoestring; has fetched up to £237 on a well known resale website to date - yowzers!!
